In June 2008, "Dark Nights Theatre", performed Alan Ayckbourn's " A Cut in the Rates" in the Preston One Act Play Festival, at the Preston Playhouse Theatre. The play was Very Well recieved and had an an excellent review.

The Director and all the cast recieved the highest praise and fantastic comments from the adjudicator.
